LivSimpl Tip: Save your closet

2 comments so far

Before you buy something new (and by “new” I mean “new to you” - shop at thrift stores!), get rid of something. It will keep your closet/dresser/bedroom from becoming even more out of control than it already is.

Be ruthless. Show no mercy. If the phrase, “But I might…” creeps into your head toss the item in the donate bin right away, because “You won’t.”

It’s also worth noting, that if you aren’t willing to get rid of something old, it stands to reason that it is working for you and that you don’t need anything new.

This might also seem a bit overzealous, but if you organize the clothes in your closet by color you save a lot of time finding the item you are looking for and have a better feel for what clothes you actually have.
